Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Malaysia, South China Sea, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Australia and New Caledonia.

Natural Environment: Inhabits inshore reefs and shallow rocky foreshores where is seen at depths between 25 to 65 feet (7 - 20 m).

General Husbandry: Occasionally seen in the trade.

Maricultured specimens available.
