Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, Belize, Cuba, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

Natural Environment: Inhabits reef slopes and generally seen at depths between 10 to 150 feet (3 - 45 m).

Aquarium Suitability: Not collected for the trade.
