Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Florida, Gulf of Mexico, Bahamas, Bermuda, and the Caribbean.

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow protected reef slopes and subtidal seagrass beds and usually seen at depths between 3 to 30 feet (1 - 10 m).

Aquarium Suitability: Not collected for the trade.
