Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Philippines to Palau and eastern Australia.

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow reef slopes and lagoons and usually seen at depths between 6 to 65 feet (2 - 20 m).

FYI: In the wild, the colonies are generally submassive and encrusting with corallites more closely spaced/compacted and generally pinkish brown with darker corallite inner walls and pale oral discs.
