Range: Western Indian Ocean: Kenya and Natal, South Africa.

Size: 3 inches (8 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits rocky crevices on coral reefs and reef slopes and is usually found between depths of 50 to 100 feet (15 – 30 m) where it feeds on smaller fishes and crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Has a dark reddish body. Not collected for the trade.
