Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Caribbean south to Brazil.

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow protected reef rubble areas and usually seen at depths between 15 to 50 feet (5 - 15 m).

Aquarium Suitability: Not collected for the trade.
