Range: Western Indian Ocean: Durban, South Africa to Kifuki Island, Mozambique, Kenya and Madagascar.

Size: 4 inches (9 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits areas near large boulder on rocky coastal reefs and is usually found between depths of 15 to 100 feet (5 – 30 m) where it feeds on smaller fishes and crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Has a tannish body with horizontal rows of darker spots. Not collected for the trade.
