Range: Eastern Pacific Ocean: from Monterey Bay California south to Mexico.

Size: 12 inches (30 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits caves and crevices in rocky coastal areas and usually seen at depths between 3 to 65 feet (1 - 20 m).

Aquarium Suitability: Not collected for the home aquarium trade.
