Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: East Africa to Japan, south to Australia and New Caledonia.

Size: 15 inches (40 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits holes and crevices in rocky coastal areas and usually seen at depths between 15 to 200 feet (5 - 60 m).

Aquarium Suitability: Not collected for the home aquarium trade.
