Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Maldives to Samoa, north to Southern Japan, south to northwestern Australia and the Great Barrier Reef.
Size: 1 inch (2 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabits caves on inshore reef and usually found between depths of 10 to 65 feet (3 – 20 m) where it feeds on crustaceans.
General Husbandry: Has a red eye with some orange on the head and the body becoming brown to the tail. Not collected for the trade.

FYI: Shown here for identification only, although the coloration of the species in the photo seems not to be that of an adult, therefore it may be that of a juvenile, yet data on this species is lacking as of mid 2016.
