Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Malaysia to Japan.

Size: 2 inches (5 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits coastal reefs and is seen in association with gorgonians.

Aquarium Suitability: Technically noted as a 'Deep Sea Squat Lobster,' and usually inhabits gorgonians in water deeper than 60 feet (20 m).

Rarely seen in the wild and not collected for the aquarium trade.
