Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea, East Coast of Africa to the Philippines.

Size: 4 inches (10 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits intertidal zones.

General Husbandry: Rarely seen in the trade.

Nocturnal, and active/feeds only at night.

As to diet, occasionally feed it finely chopped meaty foods, e.g., shredded fish/shrimp flesh.

Not well suited for reef aquariums! Bulldozer and may cause some damage to corals, as it may try to snip-off pieces to adorn its shell.
