Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea to Tonga, Southern Japan, Lord Howe Island and Palau.

Size: 3 inches (9 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits wave swept algal ridges and usually found at depths between 3 – 65 feet (1 – 20 m) where it feeds on filamentous algae, various protozoan, and detritus.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
