Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Papua New Guinea south to Eastern Australia, Lord Howe Island, Fiji and Tonga.

Size: 4 inches (10 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabit shallow rocky and coral reefs and usually found at depths between 3 – 50 feet (1 – 15 m) where it feeds on filamentous algae, various protozoan, and detritus.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
