Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Papua New Guinea south to the northern Great Barrier Reef.

Size: 2 inches (4 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow coastal waters among coral growths or rock crevices and usually found at depths between 6 – 30 feet (2 – 10 m) where it feeds on algae, various protozoan, and detritus.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
