Range: Western Pacific and Atlantic Oceans: Hawaii and Australia to the Gulf of California, and the Caribbean and Mediterranean Sea.

Size: 0.5 inch (1.5 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits very shallow soft bottom areas and seagrass beds.

Aquarium Suitability: Not collected for the home aquarium trade.

Seen in association with sponges.
