Range: Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea, and Gulf of Aden.

Size: 3 inches (8 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits corals in shallow lagoons and usually found at depths between 3 – 65 feet (1 – 20 m) where it feeds mostly on algae.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
