Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean

Size: 5 inches (12 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow protected reef areas and found on sandy and muddy bottoms.

Aquarium Suitability: Not normally collected for the home aquarium trade.

Should it become available in the trade, aquarium husbandry would be similar to Prionocidaris baculosa shown elsewhere in this section of the Species Library.
