Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea to Hawaii.

Size: 4 inches (10 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow reef areas.

Aquarium Suitability: Not collected for the home aquarium trade.

Should it become available in the trade, aquarium husbandry would be the same as Echinometra lucunter shown elsewhere in this Species Library. In fact, its also has the same burrowing capabilities in live rock.
