Range: Western Indian Ocean: Maldives.

Size: 2 inches (4 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits coastal reefs and seaward reef slopes containing heavy algae growth and usually found at depths between 10 – 30 feet (3 – 10 m) where it feeds mostly on algae.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
