Range: Western Pacific Ocean: Australia and New Zealand.

Size: 10 inches (25 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits current swept low tide areas, yet also seen as deep as 650 feet (200 m).

Aquarium Suitability: Not collected for the home aquarium trade.

Ingests sand and feeds on the microorganisms and organic matter in the sand.
