Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: South Arica to Hawaiian Islands.
Size: 32 inches (80 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy reef bottoms and generally seen between the depths of 3 - 100 feet (1 - 30 m).
Aquarium Suitability: Not purposely collected for the home aquarium trade/very rarely seen in the trade.
Sticky to the touch and feeds on detritus and organic matter, which is sifted from the substrate.
Unsuitable for home aquarium!
