Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Widespread.

Size: 72 inches (180 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabit exposed seagrass beds and rubble areas and generally seen between the depths of 3 - 65 feet (1 - 20 m).

Aquarium Suitability: Not collected for the home aquarium trade.

Sticky to the touch and feeds on detritus and organic matter, which is sifted from the substrate.

Even though they do not contain any harmful toxins, they usually perish within a few months in most captive situations, as they cannot get a sufficient amount of food.
