Range: Western Indian Ocean: Arabian Peninsula, northern Red Sea to Persian Gulf.

Size: 3 inches (6 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits corals and rocks in lagoons and bays and usually found at depths between 3 – 40 feet (1 – 12 m) where it feeds on benthic invertebrate/zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Not purposely collected for the trade.
