Range: Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea.

Size: 3 inches (9 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow rocky and coral reefs and usually found between depths of 3 – 20 feet (1 – 6 m) where it feeds on microalgae, various protozoan, and detritus.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
