Range: Eastern Central Pacific Ocean: Canary Islands and Madeira Island.

Size: 14 inches (35 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits rocky areas at depths between 30 to about 2000 feet (10 – 600 m) and is thought to feed on fishes and crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Has a mottled brown coloration. Not collected for the trade, in fact, rarely ever seen in the wild.
