Range: Central Pacific Ocean: Hawaiian Islands.

Size: 3 inches (6 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy bays, lagoons, and seaward reefs and usually found partially buried in the substrate at depths between 6 – 85 feet (2 – 25 m) where it feeds upon small crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
