Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea to French Polynesia, north to Southern Japan, and south to the Great Barrier Reef and New Caledonia.

Size: 2 inches (4 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy and rubble covered areas and usually found at depths between 10 – 100 feet (3 – 30 m) where it feeds upon benthic invertebrate.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
