Range: Western Atlantic Ocean: Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, and Panama.

Size: 2 inches (4 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow sandy bays/patch reefs with clear water and some coral growth and usually found at depths between 15 – 100 feet (5 – 30 m) where it feeds upon benthic invertebrate.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
