Range: Northwest Pacific Ocean: Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, and South China Sea.
Size: 24 inches (60 cm)
Natural Environment: Inhabits rocky and sandy bottom areas on coastal reefs and is found at depths between 30 – 150 feet (10 – 45 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans.
General Husbandry: Pale tan to grey, with numerous yellow spots on the head, body and fins. Not purposely collected for the trade.
