Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea south to Durban South Africa, east to Palau and Fiji, north to Southern Japan, and south to Arafura Sea and Australia.

Size: 48 inches (120 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits turbid coastal reefs and is found at depths between 3 – 300 feet (1 – 90 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Generally a greyish white with orange spots. Not collected for the trade.
