Range: Central Pacific Ocean: Hawaiian Islands and Johnston Island.

Size: 48 inches (120 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits areas near caves and large crevices on rocky reefs and found at depths between 65 – 1000 feet (20 – 300 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Has a mottled grey/black body with white spots. Not collected for the trade.
