Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: East Africa to Western Pacific, and southward into temperate waters of South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

Size: 18 inches (45 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits seagrass beds, algal flats, and rubble areas on inshore reefs and found at depths between 3 – 500 feet (1 – 150 m) where it feeds on small fishes and crustaceans.

General Husbandry: Has a temperature range of 63 - 82°F (18 - 28°C) and natural diet consists mainly of smaller fishes and crustaceans. Shown here for identification only.
