Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Philippines, Java, Southern Japan, and Palau.

Size: 16 inches (40 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits lagoon channels and reef slopes in coral rich areas and usually found at depths between 10 – 100 feet (3 – 30 m) where it feeds mainly upon algae covered rock and coral branches/mounds.

General Husbandry: Has an overall greenish body with a large orange blotch on the frontal body. Females lack the orange blotch. Not collected for the trade.
