Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Bali and Philippines to Line and Pitcairn Islands, north to Southern Japan, south to Rottnest Island, Lord Howe and Rapa Islands.

Size: 28 inches (70 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits lagoons and seawards reefs and usually found at depths between 3 – 150 feet (1 – 45 m) where it feeds mainly on algae.

General Husbandry: Has an overall greenish, sometimes bluish body and white lips and a slightly raised forehead. Not collected for the trade.
