Range: Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea and Somalia.

Size: 15 inches (38 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow weedy areas rich in coral growth and usually found at depths between 6 – 65 feet (2 – 20 m) where it feeds mainly on algae.

General Husbandry: Colors vary between sexes and its stage of growth (phase). Not collected for the trade.
