Range: Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea and East Africa.

Size: 12 inches (30 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow near-coastal reefs rich in benthic invertebrate, coral growth, and algae and usually found at depths between 6 - 130 feet (2 - 40 m) where it feeds mainly upon algae and some benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
