Range: Eastern Atlantic Ocean: Cape Verde to Liberia.

Size: 8 inches (20 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits rocky rubble areas near eelgrass beds and usually found at depths between 100 – 130 feet (30– 40 m) where it feeds on benthic invertebrate, usually hard-shelled invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
