Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Red Sea to South Africa and Papua New Guinea, north to Southern Japan, and south to Australia.

Size: 8 inches (20 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits areas containing heavy weedy/algae growths on coral or rocky reefs and usually found at depths between 6 – 200 feet (2 – 60 m) where it feeds on small benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
