Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: Indonesia, Philippines, Solomon Islands, New Guinea, and Palau.

Size: 3 inches (9 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sheltered inner reefs containing coral rubble and sometimes swimming among Diadema urchins, and usually found at depths between 6 – 40 feet (2 – 12 m) where it feeds on small benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
