Range: Western Indian Ocean: Tanzania to Durban, Seychelles, and Comoro Islands.

Size: 6 inches (15 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sheltered seagrass and algae beds and usually found at depths between 3 – 100 feet (1 – 30 m) where it feeds on small benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
