Range: Northeast Atlantic Ocean: Portugal and Mediterranean Sea.

Size: 3 inches (8 cm)

Natural Environment: Found in shallow littoral zones with algae covered rocks and usually found between depths of 3 – 140 feet (1 – 42 m) where it mainly feeds upon algae and detritus.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
