Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean: East Africa to Society Islands, and north to Ogasawara Islands.

Size: 3 inches (6 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits sandy bottom areas and lives inside holes and depressions in seaward reefs and usually found at depths between 3 - 150 feet (1 - 45 m) where it feeds on benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
