Range: Worldwide, including the Mediterranean Sea.

Natural Environment: Colonies inhabit deeper coastal areas and are rarely branched and attain about 6 feet (2 m) in length. Polyps always visible, and various colors, sometimes, yellow, orange, pink or white.

Aquarium Suitability: A beautiful species, however, not collected for the trade.
