Range: Indo-West Pacific Ocean

Size: 2 inches (5 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow reefs and intertidal zones with algae.

General Husbandry: Rarely seen in the home aquarium trade and probably more collected for the shell trade.

Has a temperature range of 72 to 83°F (22 - 28°C), otherwise see Cerithium atratum prior to this species for suggested aquarium husbandry.

FYI: Was previously identified as Cerithium mutatum.
