Range: Central Pacific Ocean: Hawaiian Islands.

Size: 3 inches (6 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow reef areas waiting for unwary prey and usually found between depths of 3 – 50 feet (1 – 15 m) where it mainly feeds upon fish scales and mucus.

General Husbandry: Not collected for the trade.
