Range: Western Pacific Ocean.

Size: 4 inches (10 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow rocky and coral reefs and also estuaries and usually found between depths of 3 – 50 feet (1 – 15 m) where it mainly feeds upon filamentous algae, diatoms, tiny crustaceans, and detritus.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
