Range: Eastern Central Atlantic Ocean: Cape Verde.

Size: 3 inches (6 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow intertidal areas and usually found between depths of 3 – 15 feet (1 – 5 m) where it mainly feeds upon filamentous algae, diatoms, tiny crustaceans, and detritus.

General Husbandry: Not normally collected for the trade.
