Range: Southeastern Atlantic Ocean: Saint Helena and Ascension Islands.

Size: 6 inches (15 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits shallow rocky areas and often found in caves or near overhangs at a depth of 40 to 120 feet (13 – 36 m) and natural diet is said to consist of benthic invertebrates.

General Husbandry: Unfortunately there is extremely little information on this species, which has never been collected for the trade. Should you have some data on this species, share it with me so I may post it for others to see.

FYI: Those in this genus are usually referred to as ‘Longnose Butterflyfish.’
