Range: Western Indian Ocean: Maldives.

Size: 3 inches (9 cm)

Natural Environment: Inhabits caves and areas under ledges on outer reef slopes and usually found at depths between 50 – 150 feet (15 – 45 m) where it feeds during evening hours on small fishes and crustaceans/zooplankton.

General Husbandry: Has a greyish elongated body with a central black stripe from the snout to the caudal peduncle. Not normally/purposely collected for the trade in 2016. However, should it become available, its aquarium husbandry would be similar to that of A. angustatus. Simply open that species to view those recommendations.
